megamag brake basic types:

DOUBLE SIDED "U" MAGNETS	The fin is electrically conductive and runs between permanent magnets: no contact, no friction. A heat sink removes the excess heat
SINGLE SIDED MAGNETS	Require less space than double sided ones, can fit under normal coaster cars Special safety measures apply when handling these magnets during assembly
SWITCHABLE MAGNETS	The brake can be switched on/off by an actuator that takes off the magnet or moves away the conductive fin
